Path to MEMS Sensing System Integrations

Abstract

Sensors and sensing system integration will be the biggest driver for the semiconductor industry growth in the next two decades. Sensors will be everywhere in our daily life. With continuous and fast reduction in cost and size, sensing system integration in terms of both SOC and local networking is on its way to be commercialized. From the angle of MEMSIC's MEMS effort, this paper discusses future directions of sensors and sensing system integration.
